SAN FERNANDO (CBS) — A 28-year-old youth pastor was accused of having a yearlong affair with a young girl who attended the Venice church where he worked.

Demetrius Darnell Allen, of Granada Hills, was charged with 10 counts of lewd acts on a child, single felony counts of possession of child pornography and contacting a minor for a sexual offense.

Allen pleaded not guilty to the charges and was being held on $1 million bail.

Allen is scheduled to be back in court Aug. 16 for a bail hearing, and Sept. 15, when a date will be set for a preliminary hearing.
