SANTA ANA (CBS) — Police on Friday searched for more victims of an Orange County man arrested at the Huntington Beach Pier in a rendezvous with a young girl for sex.
Ian Victor Kincheloe, of Laguna Hills, 25, reportedly arranged a meeting online with a 13-year-old girl at the Huntington Beach Pier.
But as KNX 1070’s Ron Kilgore reports, Kincheloe was instead met by a task force of federal agents and sheriff’s deputies.
“The task force is made up of Homeland Security investigators, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and basically their function is to investigate Internet-related crimes against children,” said Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino.
Amormino said the task force found handcuffs, alcohol, and condoms in Kincheloe’s vehicle, and discovered he had made reservations at the Newport Beach Marriot near Fashion Island.
Investigators also suspect this may not be the first time Kincheloe has attempted to meet with underage victims.
Anyone with any information on Kincheloe is asked to call the tip line at 1-866-TIP-OCSD.
