Deputies: Women Fatally Stabbed In Possible Domestic Violence Incident

SAN GABRIEL (CBS) — Three people were stabbed, one fatally, a home near San Gabriel early Wednesday morning.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies received a call around 5 a.m. of a stabbing at a home in the 5500 block of Walnut Grove in an unincorporated area of San Gabriel.

When deputies arrived on scene they found a man outside of the home with stab wounds along with two female victims, who authorities believe were sisters. One women was fatally wounded and the other suffered stab wounds and cuts, investigators said.

‘The 911 call came from the surviving sister who fled the location and went to a neighboring house,” said Lt. Mike Rosson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment in unknown condition.

Investigators believe the stabbing was a domestic violence incident. They say the man and the dead woman were married.

Officials are calling the estranged husband a person of interest. He is in custody, however his name has not been released.
