COSTA MESA (AP) — Teenager Mitchie `’Little Tricky” Brusco is among the skateboarders scheduled to compete on the MegaRamp ASA Triples Course Wednesday through Sunday at the Orange County Fair.
Brusco of Kirkland, Wash., became the second person to land a 900 — or 2 1/2 rotations — on the MegaRamp during practice for a contest in Brazil in July. He beat veterans such as Bob Burnquist, Andy Macdonald and Pierre-Luc Gagnon earlier this summer in the Air in the Square in New York’s Times Square.
Also competing will be 20-year-old Adam Taylor of San Diego, who won silver in X Games Big Air last weekend, and 16-year-old Pedro Barros of Brazil, who just won the Dew Tour Bowl competition.
Top BMX riders also will be competing on the Triples ramp, which includes a 195-foot long course with a 25-foot high roll-in, two 25-foot wide jumps and a 14-foot high quarterpipe.
