Bail Hearing Postponed For Suspect In Bryan Stow Beating
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A bail hearing for one of the suspects in the brutal beating of San Francisco Giants' fan Bryan Stow has been postponed.
Louie Sanchez's bail is set at $500,000, but his attorney will now have to wait until Aug. 10 to ask a judge to lower that amount.

Sanchez is charged with three felonies and two misdemeanor counts of battery. In a motion filed Monday opposing reduced bail for Sanchez, prosecutors allege he allegedly threw a soda at a woman, then ran up to a group of young men and swung a fist at one, then approached Giants fan Bryan Stow and his friends, according to Associated Press reports.
He allegedly punched two of Stow's friends before punching Stow in the head.
Marvin Norwood, who is also charged in the March 31 attack, is being held on $500,000 bail. A judge rejected a motion to reduce Norwood's bail last week.
Both Sanchez and Norwood, who were arrested July 21, are scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 10.
Prosecutors say the high bail amounts are justified because Stow's injuries were so severe. Stow remains hospitalized in San Francisco.
