YUCCA VALLEY (AP) — A woman has been hospitalized after being mauled by two pit bulls.
San Bernardino County sheriff’s investigators say 46-year-old Jaqueline Sharp was attacked by the dogs Monday morning in Yucca Valley. She was airlifted to a hospital for severe wounds on her arms.
Radio station KCDZ in Joshua Tree says the woman was found in a pool of blood in a neighbor’s driveway and witnesses say the flesh on her arms was ripped up by dog bites.
The dogs were restrained by neighbors until deputies arrived. Yucca Valley animal control officers seized the dogs.
