HAWTHORNE (CBS) — California Highway Patrol caught up to a driver suspected of reckless driving after he led them on a short chase in Hawthore Tuesday.

The suspect, wanted for reckless driving, was described as a Hispanic man with short hair.

The driver hit a truck near Crenshaw and 182nd Street and then sped off, authorities reported.

Authorities followed the suspect into an underground parking garage where he was arrested.
