Boy In Critical Condition After Falling From Third-Story Window

MARINA DEL REY (CBS) — A 4-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after he fell three stories from a window onto a concrete walkway in Marina Del Rey Sunday.

Police received a call at approximately 6:15 p.m. that a child had fallen from a third-story window at 13701 Marina Pointe Drive, an LAPD spokesperson reported.

Paramedics arrived to find the boy unconscious and barely breathing, according to scanner reports.

The boy was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The circumstances of the fall were unknown.

I have a 4 year old Grandson – my heart is breaking for this little guy and his family. i am so terribly sorry.

This is sad. I don’t know what happened here, but a lot of the times people put their beds in front of the windows, and then the kids jump on the bed. I hope the little guy pulls through. Blessings….

Whatever the little guy was going through in his life, it was no reason to attempt to take his own life. Maybe he had financial issues, (play-doh stock prices recently dipped), or maybe the stress of potty-training was taking its toll. Regardless, suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems. I hope the little dude recovers.

You are an idiot! A child dies and you are so morally bankrupt that you make light of the situation. This is a reminder that the world is full of worthless individuals who live so hopeless an existence that they feel the need to reduce everything to a pathetic joke that reflects thier own place in the universe. I am sure you routinely exercise the courage to say online what you are too cowardly to confess openly. AlphaKennyJuan, you are a prime example of ignorance which knows no boundaries. I pray that you should never have to experience the heartache and pain that this little boys, parents, siblings, relatives & friends are going through. I whole heartedly believe in the lord & know that this child is on his way to heaven. Like asdf said, grow up!

Just don’t pay attention to AlphaKennyJuan’s comment. If someone could make a joke about this then he/she obviously has s**t for a brain. BTW AlphaKennyJuan this innocent little boy did not make it and he died. Think your comment is funny now?
