LOS ANGELES (CBS) — There will be no more new whale tails on the roads of California.
The state will soon stop issuing license plates that feature artist Wyland’s dreamy design. Instead, they will be replaced by new ones that debut next month.
The change comes after the state denied Wyland’s request to have 20 percent of profits from his work benefit his environmental foundation.
