RANCHO CUCAMONGA (AP) — A Southern California man is facing up to 80 years in prison for forcing sex on his teenage stepdaughter several times a week for more than a year.

A San Bernardino County jury deliberated about four hours on Wednesday before finding 40-year-old Juan Trujillo Barajas guilty on 24 felony counts, including continuous sexual abuse of a child.

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin says his 16-year-old stepdaughter eventually disclosed the sex attacks to a relative and Barajas was arrested in May 2010.

Prosecutors say the forced intercourse took place at the family home and a Baldwin Park Mexican restaurant where Barajas and the girl worked.

Barajas will be sentenced Sept. 2.

Know something… No Physical evidence!!!! Not one what so ever!! All witnessess testified on behave of the alleged criminal!! 4weeks of trial, 24 counts of sexual abuse, 4 hours to deliberate or less! And found guilty of all 24 counts with no evidence what so ever!!!! They dont even have ONE evidence that says that Mr. Barajas did this and soon this man be he Mexican or American is heading to life long prison leaving 4 other kids behind and a wife.!!! For all of you people who believe in the justice system and everything you hear. I don’t believe the Raped his step daughter. Maybe the girl got mad at him for something and lied? Or the alleged victims mother set him up too after she found out her daughter was sleeping with her man?
He should have been charged with lawful sex with a minor which carries a few years. These girls are fast and liars and how does a guy rape a girl who is a willing party?
Something is not right with this story and I think the guy may be innocent of these trumped up charges. Maybe the police or the District Attorney didn’t like him or something?
