LOS ANGELES (CBS) — City leaders say there will be several parking restrictions in place this weekend when the 405 Freeway shuts down for 53 hours.
Parking will not be allowed on the south side of Ventura Boulevard from the freeway to Noble Avenue and the north side of the road from the freeway to Balboa Avenue. Similarly, Sepulveda Boulevard will only be open for local access.
Ramps will begin closing at 7 p.m. Friday and lanes will begin closing at 10 p.m. The entire freeway will be shut down at midnight Saturday.
Officials hope to reopen the freeway by 5 a.m. Monday morning. Ramps and connectors are scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m.
