HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — The “CSI” team is getting a new boss, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The publication reports former “Cheers” and “Becker” star Ted Danson will replace Laurence Fishburne when “CSI” returns for its 12th season premiere in September.
Fishburne spent the past 2+ seasons in the lead role of the popular crime drama replacing original series lead William Peterson.
Danson, an Emmy and Golden Globe winner best known for comedy, won great notices playing on the seies drama “Damages,” opposite Glenn Close.
Danson’s character presumably comes to Las Vegas having worked in Portland.
You misspelled SERIES. Journalism these days….
Let the character be like Dr. Becker. CSI needs a jolt.
Ted Danson, eh? I can’t imagine him in a serious rol. I’ve never seen the show but I’ll check it our just to see how he pulls it off. Intriguing choice, unlike the Ashton Kutcher decision, which is just plain stupid and guaranteed that I won’t ever watch that show again..
Wow, sorry about the typos! Typing and watching a movie at the same time!
