3 Armed Men Steal Up To $1M In Brazen Robbery
SOUTH EL MONTE (CBS) — Deputies are searching for three armed men who staged a daring robbery and stole up to $1 million in cash.
The robbers broke into a South El Monte security company, tied up three employees, and left them in a vault.
The company, Commonwealth International, primarily transports money from ATMs.
Deputies say the tied-up workers called their families around 8:45 p.m. Thursday night, who in turn, called 911 for help.
Investigators say the victims didn't know the suspects.
No injuries were reported.
