LANCASTER (CBS) — A man in his 30s was found shot to death Thursday in the Lancaster area, authorities said.

The body was discovered at about 5:30 a.m. near Sierra Highway, between Avenue B and Avenue C, said Sgt. Diane Hecht of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

Investigators believe the victim was shot in the head and then dumped from a vehicle. They say the man may have been robbed after winning a large amount of money at Diamond Jim’s Casino in Rosamond.

The man’s identity was not released.

Who cares the race? We all have the same color blood. I am Caucasian; however, in my eyes, a person with darker skin is no different than me. We are all human and if a tragic event goes down, we will need one another. The race thing is so boring. Bottom line – someone lost their life here and there is a family mourning today. Have some sympathy for life guy. This could have been one of your relatives and if it were it wouldn’t be so funny to you anymore. I love every race and I am thankful everyday for the people God has put in my life; white, black, Mexican – I am so lucky to have so many great friends of so many colors. To the guy who lost his life – R.I.P. I am terribly sorry that this happened to you.
