Police Continue Search For Missing Boy From India

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police Friday continued to search for a 15-year-old boy from India who disappeared during a trip to Los Angeles.

Lovedeep Singh, who was part of an educational tour group, was last seen near the Radisson Hotel in Exposition Park near USC on June 23 at 8:30 a.m.

Investigators say it’s unclear how he became separated from his travel group, but foul play is not suspected.

Singh, who is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 130 pounds, was wearing a gray shirt, tan pants and carrying a red backpack. He has one of his ears pierced and wears a diamond earring.

He speaks Hindi and very limited English.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LAPD at (213) 485-2582 or 1(877) LAPD-247.
