Rapper Tone Loc Out On Bail Following Domestic Violence Arrest

BURBANK (CBS) — Rapper Tone Loc was out on bail Sunday after being arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.

The 45-year-old, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with the mother of his child, according to entertainment news Web site, TMZ.com.

Loc was arrested about 2:45 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex in Burbank, TMZ.com reported.

Burbank police Sgt. Daniel Mayreiz said Loc was released late Saturday.

Loc is best known for his 1980s hit song “Funky Cold Medina.”
