LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Actress Selena Gomez was rushed to a Los Angeles area hospital Thursday night after feeling nauseated.

“Last night after Selena’s appearance on The Tonight Show she wasn’t feeling well and was taken to the hospital. She is currently undergoing routine tests,” Brit Reece, Gomez’s publicist, said in a statement.

TMZ.com reported that Gomez also complained of a severe headache after her TV appearance.

Reece did not give a reason for her client’s illness.

Gomez, 18, was scheduled to perform at the Santa Monica Place mall Friday afternoon. The performance was canceled.
