FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Miguel Lopez scored off an assist from David Beckham in the Major League Soccer-leading Los Angeles Galaxy’s 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.
Beckham leads MLS with seven assists.
Los Angeles (8-2-5) extended its winning streak to four games and its shutout string to 321 minutes with its second victory in its last 10 matches (2-6-2) at Gillette Stadium.
New England (3-5-4) was shut out for the fifth time this season.
A season-high crowd of 21,793 attended the game.
