2 Accused Of Breaking Into Lake Elsinore Apartment Still At Large
LAKE ELSINORE (CBS) — Riverside County sheriff's deputies Saturday said two men, who broke into a woman's apartment in Lake Elsinore and brandished a pistol, were still at large.
The suspects reportedly broke into an apartment in the 39400 block of Ardenwood Way about 4:14 p.m. Friday. Sheriff's Sgt. John Carlberg said one of them brandished a pistol, threatened the woman living there and demanded money.
The men escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and some of the woman's jewelry, Carlberg said.
One was described as a Hispanic man wearing a dark shirt at the time of the robbery; his cohort was a white male wearing a white shirt and baseball cap, Carlberg said. Both were described as being in their 20s.
