3 Hurt After Car Crashes Into Rolling Hills Estates Nail Salon

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES (CBS) — Three people were hurt Friday when a car careened through the front of a nail salon in Rolling Hills Estates.

Paramedics were called to 501 Deep Valley Drive just before 10:30 a.m., County Fire Inspector Quvondo Johnson said.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Cale says the driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and another person was examined after complaining of pain. It’s not clear whether the second person was in the car or in the salon.

An Urban Search and Rescue team was also sent to the scene. The building will be evaluated to determine the extent of structural damage, Johnson said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

They’ll just blame the accident on a Long toe nail stuck on the accelerator.
