Dodgers-Pirates Postponed By Rain
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers' game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday night has been postponed after a lengthy rain delay.
No makeup date was immediately announced.
The Dodgers are not scheduled to play in Pittsburgh again during the regular season.
The game started on time and the Dodgers had a 1-0 lead when play was halted at the top of the third inning.
The game was called when the delay stretched to nearly 2 1/2 hours.
The rainout was the 22nd this season, surpassing the total from all of last season.
