Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 9)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — An upper-level trough and an onshore flow are giving us cloudy skies and gusty winds.

In fact, wind advisories are in place for most high desert and mountain locations Monday. Those advisories run through the overnight hours of Monday into Tuesday.

Temperatures will run below average once again Monday with some clearing in the afternoon. There is the chance for some light drizzle throughout the day.

On Tuesday, a small ridge develops and that should help to clear us out and give us a temperature bump in the middle of the week.

However, another trough should drop in over next weekend to cool us off.

Coastal - mid 60s
Basin - upper 60s
Valleys - upper 60s
Deserts - mid 60s
Mountains - mid 40s
