'Twilight' Influencing Top Baby Names In U.S.

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The "Twilight" book and movie series are making a big impression on new moms when it comes to naming their newborns.

For the second year in a row, the most popular boy's and girl's names in the United States for 2010 are from the vampire series.

Isabella, or "Bella" for short, tops the list for girls followed by Sophia, Emma, Olivia and Ava, according to the Social Security Administration.

For boys, Jacob tops the list followed by Ethan, Michael, Jayden and William.

The list of the 1,000 most popular baby names was released Thursday.

The Social Security Administration provides lists of baby names on its website dating to 1880, when the top two names were John and Mary. The list, which includes top baby names by state, draws millions of people.
