Saugus Man Pleads No Contest To Raping Pasadena Prostitute

PASADENA (CBS) — A Saugus man pleaded no contest Wednesday to raping a prostitute in 2008.

Pasadena Superior Court Judge Dorothy Shubin immediately sentenced Jason Keith Renaux to eight years in prison following his plea to one count of forcible rape.

Renaux, 31, also was ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, said Deputy District Attorney Carolina Lugo.

Renaux took the woman into an underground parking structure on Foothill Boulevard in Pasandena, where he raped her on Dec. 27, 2008, according to the prosecutor.

He was also charged in connection with an alleged attack on Nov. 28, 2008, on another prostitute, but that case was dismissed as a result of the plea agreement.

Renaux was arrested on Dec. 30, 2008, and has remained jailed since then without bail.

How do you rape a prostitute, pay her in monopoly money?

    • former DA

your right bob if a prostitute gets in your car she has agreed to the act by default she clearly made some agreement for some service and has no right to claim rape

      • Brad H

Since protitution is defined as the exchange of a valuable consideration for sex and since RAPE is defined as forced sexual intercourse with penetration, that fact that she met him to exchange sex for money precludes a conviction for rape as a matter of fact and law. However, IF she refused to provide sex without seeing the money first, this conviction is actually the enfocement of the contract entered into by the prostitute and the john. Since prostitution is illegal and illegal contract cannot be enforced. So the prostitute used the DA’s office to enforce her illegal contract. Rape cannot occur under such facts. –

Yeah right. And a woman who gets married has agree to the act of getting raped by her husband just because she’s in a relationship with him. Same difference. You’re not a former DA. A DA would be defending the prostitute.

  • alan hart

She didn’t know she had been raped until the check bounced!

  • Sierra

You nasty men. Prostitutes don’t necessarily have intercourse or agree to it.

  • Jenn

Just because a person is a prostitute doesn’t mean they can’t get raped or be a victim. Come on Alan and Bob, have some class. You guys sound like trash.

  • surfbum

    Sounds like a business dispute.

He probably paid for the service & expect 3 entrances. She only allowed 2..

  • Susie

What kind of LOSERS make jokes about a prostitute getting raped?

    • Saber 1

Put your humor hat on Susie Q, if your selling your kitty kat don’t expect the most up standing citizens to come a calling.

  • Salty & Stinky

Probably an extortion plot, she had sex with the man, then demanded more $$$ then the poor guy can afford. So, she had all the evidence needed to file rape charges.

  • Luis

After the man had sex with the prostitutes, he probably took off leaving ’em in the parking lot sorta like how BANGBUS.COM does it.

  • Susie

It’s even worse, it’s rape AND stealing. If prostitution is a business, he stole from her because he was stealing a service from her he didn’t pay for. If he actually did pay her, he was technically paying for someting else, not rape. So, he was STEALING as well. Rape is rape. He raped her. Poor woman.

    • Saber 1

He said he couldn’t feel the sides. He stuck a ham bone in the kitty to shim it up. That is why he didn’t pay her.

    its clearly shoplifting
