CAMARILLO (CBS) — An elderly man died Tuesday in a Camarillo house fire.

Officials say the fire began around 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 700 block of Kendall Ave. The house was fully engulfed by the time fire crews arrived.

Neighbors say they tried to alert the man in his 80s, but were unable to locate him.

Firefighters found the body of the man inside the home.
