SHERMAN OAKS (CBS) — An off-duty Los Angeles police officer has died after an early-morning crash on the Ventura (101) Freeway.
The single-vehicle accident occurred about 3:20 a.m. Saturday at the Van Nuys Boulevard offramp on the eastbound freeway, according to authorities.
LAPD Sgt. Carl Taylor said the officer was found gravely injured and still belted in the driver’s seat which had separated from his pickup truck after it struck a guardrail.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the crash.

Thanks for pointing that out that everyone should Google “michellefrommadison” as many times per day as they possible can and do it daily, everyday, and have everyone they know do the same because my media site friends have investors and businesses that donate money for every hit that is confirmed on the internet, as many of you already know. Scott, however, is a little slow due likely to his limitations from his obvious mental issues. As some of those sites report weekly, keep on Goggling that phrase in full, not in any parts or having spaces between any of the letters. That’s crucial in getting an accurate hit list, and be sure to frequent all the sites listed as well. You do not have to post comments in order to help out my causes for victim’s rights, just visit the links and that is enough to generate the funds so desperately needed by these victims. I do not make any profits from any actions of victim’s right issues Scott, or even on covering Psychological and Psychiatric issues of people who face mental challenges like Scott. All “profits” are immediately donated to over a dozen non-profit organizations to help care and treat individuals like Scott and other victims of crimes and assisting to help treat people like Scott. Yes, please Google the name michellefrommadison, but please enter it as one single word, not one name with a location added. This has been mentioned here a long time ago, but Scott appears to only now be recognizing some of the past history here. Type the three parts together as one single word, that is essential, and please visit as many of the sites as possible even if it on a topic you are not specifically seeking right now. The more hits the better and victims of crimes are the true beneficiaries. Goggle away and please try to do that as often as you can as many times per day as you can. And, contact all your personal contacts and advise them to do the same. Crime victims need the assistance.
