Judge Grants Injunction Against 2 Southland Gangs

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles County prosecutors say a judge has granted a preliminary injunction that restricts the activities of two rival gangs in the San Gabriel Valley.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Chalfant granted the injunction Tuesday against members of Puente 13 and Bassett Grande.

It designates a 16-square-mile area into a “safety zone” and bars gang members from associating with one another in public or possessing weapons, narcotics or graffiti tools, among other things.

The area includes the cities of La Puente, Industry and a portion of West Covina and the communities of Avocado Heights, Bassett and Valinda.

A prosecutor says it is the largest geographic area for which the district attorney’s office has obtained an injunction.

A violation can result in a six-month jail term.

Just shoot all gang members or wannabe gang members on sight. Shaved heads, tattoos, pants around the ankles, and a look like their guilty,Open season no limit on of Dodger, Lakers, Chivas and Raider fans.

  2. Ray Brower says:

Round them up and send them to Guantanamo with all the other terrorists. That is what they are after all. As if they can even read the writing on the restraining order.

WOW What Leadership “Judge” you showed them didn’t you? OUCH you really helped that community. How about a true jail snetance?

  4. Issac Handleman says:

Ray, you are right. These are terrorists and deserve to be treated as such. They terrorize communities and commit crimes and therefore are useless turds in OUR society. God doesn’t want them so there is no need to sort them out.

really wish there was something the military can do to step in. Some of these guys WANT a way out and probably if given the choice to try to be something other than what they are , would choose to the military. If you have a felony though, chances are you won’t make the cut. They offer foreigners a chance at citizenship if they join our armed forces to help this country and we dont know what kind of criminal history they might of had. At least in this case…the devil you know is better than the devil you dont. We already know what these guys do and have all their info so they are not out of reach. I say make em earn their socials by contributing…even if it costs their lives instead of taking an innocent childs by street violence.
