STUDIO CITY (KCAL) — Easter is this Sunday and a local cupcake shop is giving viewers many reasons to celebrate.

Kaela Adams, of The Frosted Cupcakery, visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday. The sweet shop is featuring fun Easter cupcakes as well as a special April Flavor of the Month benefitting Autism Speaks.

The Blueberry Lemon Cream Cheese cupcake, topped with a blue chocolate autism puzzle piece, was created especially for the charity. The Frosted Cupcakery will donate 20% of the special cupcake’s proceeds to Autism Speaks.

The shop is also lending a hand for the 9th Annual Los Angeles Walk Now For Autism Speaks on April 23. For more information on the walk, visit Autism Speaks online.

It’s a Lemon Cake with Blueberries and a Lemon Cream Cheese frosting. The blue on top is a chocolate Autism puzzle piece. And it is super yummy! And a great cause. We have been participating in their fundraiser and have raised over $700 for Autism Speaks! Thank you Frosted Cupcakery for such a yummy way to raise money for such a great cause!
