San Bernardino Police Searching For Suspect Who Assaulted Disabled Man On A Bus

SAN BERNARDINO (CBS) — Police are looking for a suspect who assaulted a developmentally disabled man while riding a bus.

According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a man boarded an OmniTrans bus in the area of 15th Street and Medical Center Drive just after 5 p.m on April 10. The suspect was confrontational with several bus riders before he attacked an innocent passenger.

The suspect repeatedly kicked and hit the developmentally disabled man who was unable to defend himself, police said. The suspect then fled on foot.

Police have not been able to identify the suspect, but a picture of him was captured by a bus video camera. He is described as a black man, 35 – 40-years-old, 5 feet, seven inches and 190 pounds.
