Williams Returns For Kings Playoff Opener

SAN JOSE (AP) -- Los Angeles Kings forward Justin Williams will return from a dislocated right shoulder to play in the postseason opener against the San Jose Sharks.

Williams missed the final nine regular season games with the injury but was in the lineup for Game 1 in San Jose on Thursday night.

Williams had 22 goals and 35 assists while playing in the Kings' first 73 games.

Los Angeles was hoping to get Williams back because the Kings are already without injured All-Star center Anze Kopitar for the series.

The Kings scored just 209 goals this season -- the fewest of any playoff team.
