SAN GABRIEL (CBS) — At least 18 recent armed robberies in San Gabriel and neighboring areas are believed to have been committed by the same man, authorities said Wednesday.

The robber, who covers his face with a mask or bandanna, typically pulls a gun on people in their driveways or garages as they arrive home between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., San Gabriel police said.

Police say at least seven robberies were committed in San Gabriel.

The robber was described as 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall and 180-200 pounds.
