Police Seek Help In Finding Man, 80, With Alzheimer's

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police Saturday sought the public's help in finding a missing 80-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who disappeared from a retirement home near Los Angeles City College.

Jae Soo Kim, who lives in the 4300 block of Lockwood Avenue, was last seen about 3:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

Kim is about 5 feet 10 inches and 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue jacket, tan pants, black slippers and prescription glasses.

Los Angeles police Sgt. Melvin Gamble said Kim has gone missing twice before.
