Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Mar. 31)

STUDIO CITY (CBS/KCAL) — The ridge of high pressure peaks Thursday as we see the warmest temperatures of the work week.

The off-shore flow continues with dry conditions, but the wind advisories have expired early. We will be left with a sunny Thursday with temperatures in the 80s and 90s. Later tonight the on-shore flow returns and that will mean cooler temperatures for Friday. By the weekend a trough passes through the area and we will see increasing cloud cover and cooler temperatures. There is even a slight chance for a shower late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. A ridge pops in on Monday and Tuesday...then another trough moves in for more cooling and a shower chance late next week.

Coastal - low 80s

Basin - upper 80s

Valleys - low 90s

Deserts - mid 80s

Mountains - mid 60s
