Don’t anyone DARE say its the parents fault. It was a party, there was a LOT going on. Anyone’s child could have ‘slipped’ away. There are in a LOT of grief at this time and need our support. May god help them get thru this time.

IT’S THE PARENTS FAULT!. Too damn busy to watch their kid, my parents had parties and always checked on us, today’s parents suck. And how fast was that a-hole backing out that he killed this child. Obviously he didn’t care that at a party with so many people around you drive carefully.

  2. Laura says:

    It’s the parents’ fault.

Hey Latino 4 life, When was the last time you heard of ANY child getting run over at a party in a trailer park JACKA$$ ??? That’s what you get for stereotyping now get your illegal a$$ back to MEXICO and take as many so called Latinos as you can with you!! I have 7 children and none were ever unattended at ANYTIME when they were that age and older!!! That said,Race is not an issue here, the parents are at fault!!! I do non the less feel bad for them as no one should out live their children, especially with an accident like that, that could have been avoided if the parents were being parents.

Not one person born will die without some degree of tragedy. This is life. We are all in it together for a short time. Let’s try to care for and about each person we encounter and see if we can change the feel of this life. My heart bleeds for this situation and all situations happening in the world today. May God show his presents soon and may we be able to accept the message of unconditional love.

      Oh, bru-u-thur…

    2. James says:

If your heart is bleeding, you need medical attention. Get yourself to the emergency room immediately — but watch for toddlers in the road.

  5. peter buss says:

What was a child who was not yet two years old doing running around after 8pm. Unlike the last post I do ask where was the parents? It must have been those children parties that start at 1pm and end at 4am.

  8. Vee says:

By now you would think the people who have children would watch their own and not assume someone else has that responsibility……..Hire a baby sitter if your are going to by partying and losing sight of where your children are.

I don’t blame the 20 year old if he could not have imagined an 18 month old being without his parent and in the driveway alone.

Children are the ones who suffer at the hands of irresponsible parents……
Sorry….who else brought them into this world? If you are too immature to understand this, don’t bring an innocent child who will be totally DEPENDENT on having an ADULT caring for his welfare…and that includes his LIFE!!!!

  10. Nocturnal_image says:

Its amazing how people dare to say things on-line that they would never say face to face. Regardless of whose fault it is, a young child has died. It can happen to anyone. I work with children and in a blink of an eye children can run off. Legal status, race, ethnicity, or background don’t have anything to do with this tragedy. Stay classy on-line aggressors…

    1. take credit for your actions says:

nocturnal?? if i was to meet these parents i would tell them to their face that it is their fault i have a child he is now 16 but when he was 18 mo old and me and my wife had get togethers one or the other of us had that boy in our arms AT ALL TIMES its called GOOD PARENTING people are right here stuff does happen in the blink of an eye thats why a GOOD PARENT is PROACTIVE you forsee the worst happening and act to make sure it does not all to many people call it PARANOID well my boy is alive these moron parents cant say the same

  11. cbt says:

Especially when there is a party going on, parents need to know where their toddler children are at all the time! There is absolutely no excuse for this tragedy!

  12. Will B says:

Empathy for the children,Not for the adults
Who let them run loose in the front yard
or the young man who should have checked
and assured that anyone was out of the vehicles path.

    Whatever will be will be

  13. c-man says:

Good. This kid would have grown up to be a burden on the American system anyways. Just like most of these filthy cokroach hispanics. One down, ten million to go. This anchor baby just sank.

  14. c-man says:

It is the faults of the parents. But how can one parent keep track of their ten kids. The parent was probably another drunk mexican

  15. BEN says:

THE PARENTS ARE RESPONSILE WHAT A TERRIBLE TRADGEY.

  16. Lis says:

@ c-man and david huffman: you two poor excuses for men and cowards to boot. nice job jumping on your soap box and turning a senselss tragedy into a racial slur. if you think that u speak for all us citizens, you’re stupid. you make us sound un-educated and low-class. but clearly, that’s what u are

  17. Lili M. says:

It’s hard to believe that to this day, there are still many ignorant racist people out there! Who said our world is perfect.
