PALOS VERDES ESTATES (CBS) — A driver’s body was ejected and found about 200 feet away after his car plunged off an oceanfront cliff in Palos Verdes Estates Wednesday.

County fire Inspector Matt Levesque said the car went over a cliff near Palos Verdes Drive and Paseo Del Mar after 10 a.m.

Firefighters found the car about 35 feet down the embankment and the driver’s body about 250 feet down the embankment, Levesque said.

Its not immediately clear if the death was an accident or a suicide.

Firefighters and coroner’s investigators were on the scene to retrieve the body.

    Oh come on we all know it was suicide, I lived in that area from 1970 to 93 it’s always the same.. and last year my classmate did it too On 4th Jul 2010
