After leaving a Scottsdale, Arizona night club in December 2006, and running a stop sign and almost hitting a sheriff’s car, Mike Tyson — the heavyweight boxer — was pulled over by cops who said he was driving under the influence. They also busted him for cocaine possession. No alcohol was detected in his system. According to TMZ, police said Tyson was cooperative and acted like a complete gentleman throughout. (credit: AP)

NEW YORK (AP) —  Mike Tyson is taken with a new kind of sparring these days.

The former heavyweight champion admits he is a big fan of the “Real Housewives” franchise on the Bravo network.

Tyson says he likes the Beverly Hills series because he enjoys watching people who “spend a lot of money” but says his favorites are the New Jersey wives.

Tyson says he likes Bravo Senior Vice President Andy Cohen, who hosts a talk show on the network, “Watch What Happens Live,” which often features the housewives. Tyson says he’s willing to make an appearance, predicting he and Cohen would enjoy each other’s company.

Tyson’s own reality show, “Taking on Tyson,” airs on the Animal Planet network. He also appears in “The Hangover 2,” due out in May.
