WESTMONT (CBS) — Two boys were shot, one fatally, in the Westmont area Sunday, according to authorities.
The shooting was reported about 10:20 a.m. in the 1700 block of 105th
Street near Western Avenue, Deputy Benjamin Grubb of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau said.
Both boys were taken to a hospital where one victim was pronounced dead, Grubb said.
The second boy was treated for his injuries but his condition was unknown, Grubb said.
The motive was also unknown.
