2 Hurt In Head-On Collision In La Tuna Canyon

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Two people were injured Sunday in a head-on collision in La Tuna Canyon.

Firefighters were sent to the 8300 block of West La Tuna Canyon Road about 6:45 a.m. Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Los Angeles police Officer Medmond Babaians of the Valley Traffic Division said one person was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and the other to Verdugo Hills Hospital.

According to Scott, one of the victims had some broken ribs.
