ANAHEIM (CBS) — Police said a 61-year-old woman crossing the street Saturday was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver in Anaheim.
The woman was crossing eastbound in the north crosswalk of Harbor Boulevard at Katella Avenue about 2:10 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle traveling north on Harbor, Sgt. Bob Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department said.

The victim was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries, he said.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a mid 1990s to mid 2000s white Honda Accord or Nissan Altima or Maxima.
The driver was described as a Hispanic man about 45 years old.
