LA Kings To Collect Diapers Before Avalanche Game

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles Kings will collect diapers Saturday before their game against the Colorado Avalanche at Staples Center as part of the NHL’s “Hockey for Huggies” drive.

Fans donating a box of diapers or a minimum of $10 will be eligible to play Plinko for various prizes. The drop-off location will be at Guest Link.

Fans can also text Kings to 501501 to donate $5 to help diaper babies in the Los Angeles area.

Proceeds of the drive will benefit the Los Angeles Diaper Drive, which provides diapers to low-income families in the region.

All 30 NHL teams have or will conduct diaper drives in February for the Hockey for Huggies program in connection with Huggies’ Every Little Bottom initiative which weeks to help get diapers to babies in need in the United States and Canada.
