ANAHEIM (CBS) — A bomb squad was called out to check out a suspicious device in Downtown Disney Tuesday.
Anaheim police were called at 11:07 a.m. when Downtown Disney workers came across a small cylindrical object between the ESPN Zone store and the House of Blues, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said.
The Orange County Sheriff’s bomb squad was called to check out the device, Dunn said.
Access to the area was restricted and shoppers were asked to stay inside, he said.
