Suspects At Large In Murder Of Echo Park Teen

ECHO PARK (CBS) — Several suspects wanted in the apparent gang-related shooting death of a 13-year-old boy in Echo Park were at large Tuesday, police said.

The shooting occurred at 7:25 p.m. Monday near North Benton Way and West Temple Street, said the LAPD.

The teen died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

The boy was standing with some other young men when a dark-colored 2000 or 2001 Toyota Camry pulled up and several males got out and approached them, officials said. At least one suspect opened fire, fatally wounding the teen.

Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call Rampart Station detectives at (213) 484-3639; or (877) LAPD-24-7.

    WH Jones,

This area you live in will forever be inhabited by a large population of Mexicans/Hispanics/Latinos. Get used to it, or get out.
