PACOIMA (CBS) — A 28-year-old mother was killed Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run in Pacoima.
The woman’s three children suffered minor injuries, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The crash was reported at 2:02 p.m. at 12589 W. Mercer St., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.
The victim was identified as Maria Pena of Pacoima.
Scott says a 7-year-old girl, a 5- year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries. All four victims were taken to hospitals.
The driver was described by witnesses as a male Hispanic with spiked hair. Police also said he was driving a white pickup.
