Car Fatally Strikes Pedestrian In South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 19-year-old man was struck and killed in South Los Angeles Friday morning, police said.

Paramedics were sent to the 8700 block of Figueroa Street at 6:55 a.m., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The man died at the scene and the driver was being interviewed, according to police.

      cou u ed rooney need to stop and re_evaluate ur self this guy had a kid who was barely 1 and a girlfriend who cared very deeply for him and he was ripped away from them with no warning no goodbye. He was 19 had his wholelife ahead of him. I hope this doesn’t happen to one of ur loved ones and some jack ass says something like that to u!

    Get all of the latinos of the road and this will stop. They are worse than asians. the dmv should be checking citizenship before giving out licenses. This S@#T is happening weekly, it needs to stop.
