Report: NCAA After Lane Kiffin, Tennessee

LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Former Tennessee coach and current USC coach Lane Kiffin could be hit by the NCAA once again.

After a great day of signing top recruits on national signing day, the NCAA is accusing Lane Kiffin and the University Tennessee for recruiting violations.

According to FanHouse, Kiffin and the University of Tennessee will be hit by the NCAA for a failure to monitor improper recruiting contacts by Vols coaches and hostesses.

Kiffin's brother-in-law and last year's Vols assistant quarterbacks coach, John Reaves, made improper contacts with recruits as well as hostess from the Orange Pride Program, which was disbanded in 2010, receiving oral and written instructions by coaches about which top recruits to contact, how to contact them, and ask for updates.

NCAA attorney, Mark Jone, calls theses allegations as a "major violation."

Kiffin declined to comment on the allegations.
