LOS ANGELES (AP) — Investigators say a Los Angeles motorist who fell asleep behind the wheel while stopped on railroad tracks has survived after a freight train struck the vehicle.
The driver, whose name hasn’t been released, was arrested early Thursday for investigation of drunken driving.
Police Sgt. Cameron Dunnet says the car was stopped on tracks in the Pacoima area of the northeast San Fernando Valley when the Union Pacific train hit the car at 1:15 a.m. The train clipped the front of the car and spun it around.
Sgt. Jim Reid tells City News Service the man survived without a scratch.

nice way of saying someone tried to commit suicide oh they just fell asleep drunk on the only train track in the neighborhood!
He should have to pay the railroad for any damage to the train
I totally agree to this. What kind of car was he driving?
Maybe the man was trying to commit suicide by Train?
