Who do you race for? Join the fight against breast cancer by registering for the Los Angeles County Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Join the CBS2/KCAL9 news team on Sunday, March 6, at Dodger Stadium for the 5K run/walk with live entertainment, games, prizes and much more.

Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will stay here in L.A. County to fund programs for medically underserved women.

In 1994 I endured the longest day of my life, when I flew out to Detroit, MI to be with my oldest sister, during her morning to evening breast cancer operation.

I’ve always thought this cause as worthy. Sadly, now my opinion is that SGK is more interested in funding lawyers than funding breast cancer research. They are hell bent on protecting their executive salaries as beneficiaries of a brand, not as as charity. CBS, why are you contributing the wealth of the leadership and lawyers for SGK instead of contributing to finding a cure for breast cancer?
