Griffin's 29 Points Leads Clippers Past T'Wolves

LOS ANGELES (AP)—Blake Griffin had 29 points and eight rebounds, ending his streak of double-doubles at 27 games, and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-111 Wednesday night to win their third in a row.

The Wolves' Kevin Love had 26 points and 11 rebounds for his NBA-leading 29th straight double-double.

The two players with the most double-doubles in the league had their streaks in jeopardy until the fourth quarter, when Love reached double figures in rebounds after having none in the first half. Griffin left the game two shy with 3:54 to play and didn't look pleased about it, although the outcome wasn't in doubt.

The Clippers' DeAndre Jordan actually notched a double-double by the third quarter and finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
