LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Hollywood icon Peter Fonda made a gruesome discovery this week inside a parked car near his home in Pacific Palisades.
KNX 1070′s Chris Sedens reports.
Police say the “Easy Rider” actor had noticed the car in his neighborhood for some time, and LAPD homicide detective Steve Turner says when he checked inside he found a dead body.
Fonda reported the body in the car about 2 p.m. on Wednesday just off Sunset Boulevard on Los Liones Drive.
A coroner’s investigator responded and found the body, believed to be a man in his 50s.
An autopsy is planned, but at this point investigators believe the death was a suicide.
