Molestation Victims Sought After OC Man Arrested

IRVINE (AP) — Investigators are searching for more victims of an Orange County man who allegedly molested young girls and recorded some of the acts on video.

Matthew Christopher Tye was arrested Thursday on suspicion of multiple felonies related to having sex with two minor girls. While searching his Irvine home, police found videos of him having sex with other unidentified girls.

The Los Angeles Times said Saturday that the 31-year-old Tye is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old between May and July 2009.

Prosecutors say he met her online and had sex with her several times in his home and in his car in Disneyland's parking lot. The girl told a family member, who reported it to police.

While investigating the 17-year-old's claims, prosecutors say they linked Tye to a 14-year-old.
